Youth Empowerment Trust (YET) – Organization Description Youth Empowerment Trust (YET) is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO) based in Siaya. The organization is committed to empowering young people and improving community livelihoods through education, environmental conservation, mentorship, leadership development, and socio-economic empowerment programs. Founded and led by dedicated young leaders, YET works to address challenges facing youth and vulnerable communities by creating opportunities for personal growth, skills development, and active participation in community development. The organization collaborates with government agencies, schools, community groups, development partners, and other stakeholders to implement sustainable initiatives that promote positive social change. YET's key areas of focus include environmental conservation, tree planting, youth leadership, education support, mentorship, community outreach, and entrepreneurship. Through these programs, the organization aims to nurture responsible citizens, promote environmental sustainability, and contribute to the achievement of local and national development goals.
