OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PART I — PREAMBLE, DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
1. PREAMBLE
The We The Peoples Humanity Awards ("the Awards") are an international humanitarian recognition program established to identify, celebrate, recognize, and promote individuals, organizations, institutions, charities, social enterprises, businesses, youth initiatives, community-based organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and humanitarian leaders whose work has created measurable and sustainable positive impact within their communities.
The Awards are founded on the belief that humanitarian service, compassion, innovation, and community leadership deserve recognition and support. Through public participation, independent judging, strategic partnerships, and access to opportunities available through the Vibo Platform, the Awards seek to strengthen humanitarian action across Africa and beyond.
These Awards are organized, administered, and managed exclusively by Farmbid Africa and are hosted through the Vibo Platform, which provides the official nomination, voting, judging, communication, and participant management system.
These Terms and Conditions govern every stage of participation, including nominations, eligibility, verification, voting, judging, grant eligibility, selection of finalists, winners, awards administration, and participant conduct.
By submitting a nomination, accepting a nomination, casting a vote, serving as a judge, acting as a sponsor, partner, volunteer, ambassador, or participating in any activity related to the Awards, every participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Failure to comply with these Terms may result in suspension, disqualification, cancellation of votes, withdrawal of awards, or any other action deemed appropriate by Farmbid Africa.
2. DEFINITIONS
For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following words shall have the meanings assigned to them unless the context requires otherwise.
2.1 Awards
"Awards" means the We The Peoples Humanity Awards including all nomination activities, public voting, judging, award ceremonies, grant opportunities, media activities, publications, promotional campaigns, training programs, networking events, conferences, and all associated activities conducted under the Awards.
2.2 Organizer
"Organizer" means Farmbid Africa, including its directors, employees, trustees, volunteers, officers, affiliates, contractors, consultants, representatives, successors, assigns, sponsors, authorized agents, and any committee appointed to administer the Awards.
2.3 Platform
"Platform" means the Vibo Platform including: website; mobile applications; voting systems; payment gateways; grant portal; communication systems; online dashboards; user accounts; databases; digital infrastructure; APIs; and future digital products operated under Vibo.
2.4 Participant
A Participant includes every individual or organization participating in the Awards in any capacity including: Nominees; Nominators; Voters; Judges; Sponsors; Donors; Partners; Volunteers; Media partners; Award ambassadors; Guests; and Ceremony attendees.
2.5 Nominee
A Nominee means an individual or organization that has successfully submitted or received a nomination under the Awards.
2.6 Nominator
A Nominator means a person who submits a nomination on behalf of another eligible person or organization.
2.7 Judge
A Judge means any qualified professional appointed by Farmbid Africa to independently evaluate nominees using the approved judging criteria.
2.8 Vote
A Vote means one successfully completed and verified payment authorizing support for a nominee through the official Vibo Platform. Only verified votes shall be counted.
2.9 Voting Period
The Voting Period means the official timeframe announced by Farmbid Africa during which votes may be submitted.
2.10 Finalist
A Finalist means a nominee who has achieved at least eighty percent (80%) during the official judging stage and has qualified for the Grand Finale.
2.11 Winner
A Winner means a Finalist officially declared by Farmbid Africa following completion of all judging and voting processes.
2.12 Grant Access
Grant Access means eligibility to explore or apply for grants, funding calls, investment opportunities, partnerships, incubation programs, accelerator programs, fellowships, sponsorships, or similar opportunities available through the Vibo Platform. Grant Access does not constitute a guarantee of funding or financial support.
2.13 Content
Content includes all information submitted through the Awards including: photographs; videos; audio recordings; logos; project reports; financial reports; testimonials; impact reports; articles; publications; social media content; documents; research papers; images; personal biographies; and organizational profiles.
3. INTERPRETATION
Unless the context otherwise requires:
- Words importing the singular shall include the plural.
- Words importing one gender shall include all genders.
- References to persons include organizations.
- References to laws include future amendments.
- Headings are included for convenience only and shall not affect interpretation.
- Where any provision becomes invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain fully enforceable.
4. ABOUT THE WE THE PEOPLES HUMANITY AWARDS
The Awards exist to recognize extraordinary humanitarian work that transforms communities. The Awards seek to: celebrate humanitarian excellence; encourage volunteerism; recognize community leaders; promote sustainable development; inspire innovation; strengthen partnerships; connect changemakers; increase visibility for humanitarian initiatives; encourage transparency and accountability; facilitate networking; create opportunities for collaboration; and unlock access to grants and investment opportunities through the Vibo Platform.
The Awards are non-political, non-discriminatory, and committed to fairness, integrity, transparency, accountability, and equal opportunity.
5. ADMINISTRATION OF THE AWARDS
Farmbid Africa shall have full authority over the administration of the Awards. Without limitation, Farmbid Africa may: establish Award categories; amend categories; appoint judges; appoint advisory committees; appoint verification officers; verify nominees; suspend nominations; investigate fraud; cancel votes; disqualify participants; modify judging procedures; publish winners; postpone ceremonies; introduce additional award stages; create partnerships; publish guidelines; and revise these Terms and Conditions. All decisions made by Farmbid Africa shall be final unless expressly stated otherwise.
PART II — ELIGIBILITY
6. ELIGIBILITY
6.1 General Eligibility
Participation in the We The Peoples Humanity Awards is open to individuals and organizations that demonstrate verifiable humanitarian, social impact, community development, or philanthropic work. Eligible participants include but are not limited to: individual humanitarians; community leaders; youth activists; NGOs; community-based organizations (CBOs); social enterprises; faith-based organizations engaged in social work; educational institutions; health initiatives; environmental projects; women and youth empowerment programs; disability inclusion programs; and peacebuilding initiatives.
6.2 Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, a Nominee must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or have legal guardian consent where applicable.
- Provide accurate, verifiable, and complete information.
- Demonstrate measurable humanitarian or social impact.
- Comply with applicable local and international laws.
- Agree to verification procedures conducted by Farmbid Africa.
- Not be disqualified under Section 6.4 (Ineligible Participants).
6.3 Organizational Eligibility
Organizations must: be legally registered in their jurisdiction (where applicable); demonstrate active operations for humanitarian or social benefit; provide registration documentation upon request; maintain verifiable leadership and governance structure; and be free from ongoing criminal investigations related to fraud or corruption.
6.4 Ineligible Participants
The following are not eligible to participate:
- Individuals or organizations providing false or misleading information.
- Entities involved in terrorism, violent extremism, or hate activities.
- Individuals convicted of serious financial crimes (fraud, embezzlement, corruption) unless fully rehabilitated and disclosed.
- Entities engaging in systematic exploitation or abuse of beneficiaries.
- Government officials using state resources unlawfully for nomination purposes.
- Any participant determined by Farmbid Africa to pose reputational or legal risk to the Awards.
PART III — NOMINATION & VERIFICATION
7. NOMINATION PROCESS
7.1 Free Nomination Policy
Nomination into the Awards is strictly free of charge. No person shall be required to pay any fee to: submit a nomination; receive a nomination; be listed on the Vibo Platform; or be considered for verification.
7.2 Methods of Nomination
Nominations may be submitted through: the official Vibo Platform portal; authorized partner channels; verified campaign representatives; or community nomination drives approved by Farmbid Africa.
7.3 Nomination Submission Requirements
Each nomination must include: full name of nominee; contact information (where available); country and location; category of humanitarian work; description of impact; supporting evidence (photos, reports, links, documents); and nominator details (if applicable).
7.4 Acceptance of Nomination
Submission of a nomination does not guarantee acceptance. Farmbid Africa reserves the right to: reject incomplete nominations; reject fraudulent nominations; merge duplicate nominations; reclassify categories; and request additional documentation.
8. VERIFICATION AND DUE DILIGENCE
8.1 Verification Authority
All nominations are subject to verification by Farmbid Africa or appointed verification agents.
8.2 Verification Methods
Verification may include: identity verification; organization registration checks; field assessments; beneficiary confirmation; media and digital footprint review; reference checks; and financial or operational audits (where necessary).
8.3 Right to Investigate
Farmbid Africa reserves the right to investigate any nominee at any stage of the Awards process.
8.4 Disqualification During Verification
A nominee may be disqualified if: information is found to be false; impact claims are exaggerated or unverifiable; fraudulent documents are submitted; nominee is involved in unethical conduct; or nominee refuses verification cooperation.
PART IV — VOTING
9. PUBLIC VOTING SYSTEM
9.1 Voting Platform
All voting activities shall be conducted exclusively through the Vibo Platform. Votes submitted outside the Platform shall not be recognized.
9.2 Voting Fee — Second Round
Each vote in the Second Round requires a payment of USD 0.38 per vote, or equivalent in supported local currency.
9.3 Purpose of Voting Fee
The voting fee contributes to: platform maintenance; verification systems; fraud detection systems; administrative costs; campaign infrastructure; and Awards operations.
9.4 Valid Votes
A valid vote is one that: is successfully paid for; is recorded on the Vibo Platform; is not flagged as fraudulent; is not reversed or disputed; and is verified by the system.
9.5 Invalid Votes
Votes may be invalidated if: multiple fraudulent accounts are used; automated bots are detected; payment fraud is identified; technical manipulation occurs; or vote is reversed due to chargeback.
10. QUALIFICATION THRESHOLD
10.1 Mandatory Voting Requirement
Each nominee must obtain a minimum of one hundred and fifty (150) valid votes in the First Round, and eighty-five (85) valid votes in the Second Round, within four (4) consecutive weeks from the official voting start date.
10.2 Consequences of Meeting Threshold
A nominee who achieves 85 valid Second Round votes shall: (a) qualify for the judging stage; (b) be marked as "Qualified Nominee" on the Vibo Platform; (c) become eligible for review by the judging panel; and (d) unlock eligibility to access Grant Opportunities on the Vibo Platform (subject to separate terms).
10.3 Important Clarification
Meeting the 85-vote threshold does NOT guarantee winning, grant approval, or finalist status — it only qualifies the nominee for the next stage.
10.4 Failure to Meet Threshold
Any nominee who fails to achieve 85 valid votes within the four-week period shall be automatically eliminated from the current Awards cycle, marked as inactive for that season, and remain eligible for future participation in subsequent editions.
PART V — GRANTS & JUDGING
11. GRANT ACCESS THROUGH VIBO PLATFORM
11.1 Conditional Access
Nominees who achieve the required voting threshold may be granted access to explore opportunities on the Vibo Platform.
11.2 Nature of Grant Access
Grant access may include: funding applications; donor programs; investment opportunities; sponsorship calls; NGO support programs; accelerator programs; and partnership opportunities.
11.3 No Guarantee Clause
Grant access does NOT guarantee: approval of funding; receipt of money; investment outcomes; sponsorship selection; or any financial benefit. All grant decisions are subject to independent evaluation.
11.4 Separate Terms Apply
Each grant opportunity shall have separate eligibility criteria, evaluation processes, funding conditions, and contractual obligations.
12. CONTINUATION TO JUDGING STAGE
Only nominees who meet the voting threshold shall proceed to independent judging review, scoring assessment, shortlist consideration, and finalist selection.
13. JUDGING FRAMEWORK
13.1 Establishment of Judging Panel
Farmbid Africa shall appoint an independent Judging Panel responsible for evaluating all eligible nominees who have successfully met the minimum voting threshold. The Panel may include: humanitarian experts; development practitioners; academics; civil society leaders; industry professionals; philanthropy advisors; impact assessment specialists; and regional representatives. Judges shall serve in a personal capacity and not as representatives of any political, governmental, or commercial entity unless otherwise declared.
13.2 Independence of Judges
Judges shall be required to: act independently and impartially; avoid conflicts of interest; declare any relationships with nominees; recuse themselves where necessary; and maintain confidentiality of deliberations. Any breach of impartiality may result in removal from the Panel.
13.3 Confidentiality of Judging Process
All judging discussions, scoring records, and deliberations shall remain confidential and shall not be disclosed to participants or the public unless authorized by Farmbid Africa.
14. JUDGING CRITERIA
14.1 Evaluation Principles
Each qualified nominee shall be evaluated based on humanitarian merit, measurable impact, and sustainability.
14.2 Core Criteria
Judges shall assess nominees on:
- Humanitarian Impact — depth of community benefit; number of lives impacted; urgency of interventions; reach and scale of programs.
- Sustainability — long-term viability of initiatives; ability to continue impact without external dependency; institutional strength.
- Innovation — creativity in solving social challenges; use of technology or new methods; adaptability to local conditions.
- Leadership — integrity of leadership; community trust; governance structures; decision-making transparency.
- Accountability and Transparency — financial transparency; reporting structures; ethical operations; donor and stakeholder trust.
- Community Participation — involvement of beneficiaries; inclusivity of program design; local ownership of initiatives.
- Measurable Outcomes — documented results; evidence-based impact; verifiable achievements.
14.3 Scoring Method
Each criterion shall be assigned a weighted score. The final score shall be calculated as a percentage (%) based on aggregate evaluation. Farmbid Africa reserves the right to modify weighting systems before judging commences.
14.4 Final Score Determination
The final score of each nominee shall be determined by: individual judge scoring; panel moderation; verification adjustments (if applicable); and final calibration review. The resulting score shall be the official and final score recorded on the Vibo Platform.
15. FINALIST SELECTION — 80% RULE
15.1 Qualification to Final Stage
Only nominees who achieve a minimum score of eighty percent (80%) or higher shall be classified as Finalists.
15.2 Meaning of Finalist Status
Finalist status means the nominee: has successfully passed the judging stage; is eligible for the Grand Finale voting stage; may be publicly listed as a finalist on the Vibo Platform; and may be featured in promotional and media campaigns.
15.3 Finalist Limitations
Finalist status does not guarantee: winning of the Awards; financial grants; sponsorship approval; investment outcomes; or employment or business support.
15.4 Farmbid Africa Discretion
Farmbid Africa reserves the right to: determine the number of finalists per category; merge categories where necessary; adjust scoring thresholds before evaluation begins; and disqualify finalists found in violation of rules.
PART VI — GRAND FINALE & WINNERS
16. GRAND FINALE STRUCTURE
16.1 Purpose of the Grand Finale
The Grand Finale is the final stage of the Awards and is designed to: allow public participation in selecting winners; showcase finalist achievements; promote humanitarian awareness; and increase transparency in selection.
16.2 Final Public Voting
Finalists shall be subjected to a final round of public voting through the Vibo Platform. Votes shall: be open to the public; require payment per vote (USD 0.38 or equivalent); be tracked and verified by the Platform; and be subject to fraud monitoring systems.
16.3 Voting Integrity Controls
Farmbid Africa reserves full authority to: detect and block fake accounts; invalidate suspicious votes; freeze voting in case of irregularities; audit payment transactions; and suspend finalists involved in manipulation.
16.4 Determination of Winners
Final winners may be determined through: final public vote totals; judge validation (where applicable); combined scoring systems; and integrity review outcomes. Farmbid Africa shall publish the final determination method before the Grand Finale begins.
16.5 Final Decision Authority
All final decisions regarding winners shall be binding, final, and non-appealable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
17. AWARDS DISCLOSURE AND ANNOUNCEMENT
17.1 Announcement Process
Winners shall be announced through: official Vibo Platform channels; press releases; media partners; award ceremony events; and social media platforms.
17.2 Publication Rights
Farmbid Africa reserves the right to publish: winner names; finalist names; impact stories; photographs; videos; interviews; and scoring summaries (at its discretion).
PART VII — INTEGRITY & CONDUCT
18. INTEGRITY AND ANTI-MANIPULATION RULES
18.1 Prohibited Conduct
Participants are strictly prohibited from engaging in: vote buying schemes; fraudulent payment activity; creation of fake accounts; automated voting systems (bots); hacking attempts; bribery of judges or staff; impersonation of nominees; and manipulation of scoring systems.
18.2 Investigation Powers
Farmbid Africa may investigate any suspected misconduct including: audit of voting records; payment verification checks; digital forensics analysis; identity verification procedures; and third-party reporting.
18.3 Enforcement Actions
Where violations are confirmed, Farmbid Africa may: remove votes; suspend nominees; disqualify participants; revoke finalist status; cancel award eligibility; and blacklist offenders from future editions.
19. DISQUALIFICATION
19.1 General Authority
Farmbid Africa reserves the unconditional right to disqualify any Participant at any stage of the Awards process where there is reasonable belief of misconduct, breach of these Terms, fraud, or activity that undermines the integrity of the Awards. Disqualification may occur with immediate effect and without prior notice.
19.2 Grounds for Disqualification
A Participant may be disqualified if they:
- Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.
- Engage in vote manipulation or fraudulent voting practices.
- Use bots, automation tools, or artificial systems to influence votes.
- Attempt to bribe, influence, or improperly communicate with judges or administrators.
- Submit forged documents or misrepresent humanitarian impact.
- Engage in criminal conduct that affects credibility of the Awards.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Damage the reputation of the Awards or Farmbid Africa.
- Engage in harassment, hate speech, or abusive conduct.
- Fail to comply with verification requests.
19.3 Consequences of Disqualification
Where a Participant is disqualified: all votes may be voided; nomination status may be revoked; finalist status may be withdrawn; awards may be canceled or reassigned; access to grants or opportunities may be revoked; and participant may be barred from future editions.
20. CODE OF CONDUCT
20.1 General Conduct Expectations
All Participants shall conduct themselves in a manner that reflects integrity, respect, honesty, and professionalism.
20.2 Prohibited Conduct
Participants shall not: engage in fraud or deception; harass or threaten other participants; use abusive or discriminatory language; spread false information about other nominees; attempt to manipulate voting outcomes; engage in political propaganda using the Awards platform; or impersonate officials, judges, or organizers.
20.3 Digital Conduct
Participants must ensure that all digital engagement: is lawful; is respectful; does not violate platform integrity; and does not include spam or automated manipulation.
20.4 Enforcement
Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in: warnings; suspension; disqualification; or permanent ban from the Awards ecosystem.
PART VIII — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, MEDIA & PRIVACY
21. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
21.1 Ownership of Content
Participants retain ownership of original content submitted to the Awards, including but not limited to: project documentation; photographs; videos; logos; written materials; and reports.
21.2 License to Organizer
By participating in the Awards, Participants grant Farmbid Africa and the Vibo Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute, and display submitted content for purposes including: promotion of the Awards; marketing campaigns; media publications; documentation and reporting; educational use; fundraising and awareness; and social media distribution.
21.3 No Additional Compensation
Participants acknowledge that no additional payment or royalties shall be due for use of submitted content unless expressly agreed in writing.
22. MEDIA RIGHTS AND CONSENT
22.1 Consent to Media Use
Participants consent to the capture and use of: photographs; video recordings; interviews; audio recordings; live broadcasts; and event footage.
22.2 Use of Identity
Farmbid Africa and its partners may use Participant name, image, voice, biography, and organizational details for promotional and informational purposes across television, radio, online platforms, social media, print publications, and press releases.
23. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
23.1 Data Collection
Farmbid Africa and the Vibo Platform may collect personal and organizational data including: identity details; contact information; financial transaction data; voting records; nomination content; and verification documents.
23.2 Purpose of Data Use
Data shall be used strictly for: administering the Awards; verifying nominations; processing votes; communicating with participants; fraud detection; reporting and analytics; and grant and opportunity matching.
23.3 Data Protection
Farmbid Africa shall implement reasonable safeguards to protect data from: unauthorized access; alteration; disclosure; and destruction. Data may be shared with verification partners, payment processors, legal authorities (where required), judges (limited scope), and technical service providers.
PART IX — LIABILITY, FORCE MAJEURE & GENERAL
24. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
24.1 General Limitation
Farmbid Africa and the Vibo Platform shall not be liable for: indirect or consequential losses; loss of data; loss of opportunity; technical system failures; internet interruptions; payment gateway failures; or third-party service disruptions.
24.2 No Guarantee Clause
Farmbid Africa does not guarantee: nomination approval; votes or outcomes; winning of awards; grant funding; or sponsorships or investments.
24.3 User Responsibility
Participants assume full responsibility for: accuracy of submitted information; compliance with rules; safeguarding their account credentials; and participation in voting and nomination processes.
25. FORCE MAJEURE
Farmbid Africa shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including: natural disasters; pandemics or epidemics; war or civil unrest; government restrictions; cyberattacks; system failures; labor strikes; or infrastructure breakdowns. In such cases, Farmbid Africa may suspend, postpone, or modify the Awards.
26. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
AMENDMENT — TWO-ROUND VOTING, GRANT COINS AND AUTOMATED REWARDS
This amendment supersedes any inconsistent provisions.
1. Two-Round Voting
First Round: Free public voting. Nominees who attain 150 valid votes automatically progress to the Second Round.
Second Round: Each vote costs 0.38 USD. Only verified paid votes count.
2. Voter Rewards
Each successful second-round paid vote automatically awards the voter one (1) Grant Coin. Each Grant Coin may be used to unlock any eligible grant on the Vibo Platform. Grant Coins are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
3. Dashboard Invitation
After every successful second-round vote, the system shall automatically send the voter a dashboard invitation email and activate dashboard access where applicable.
4. Nominee Reward
Upon attaining 85 valid paid votes in the Second Round, the nominee shall automatically receive free access to all eligible grants for ninety (90) days. Grant access is personal, non-transferable, and the grant sharing feature shall be disabled. Access expires automatically after 90 days unless renewed through another qualifying promotion or rule.
5. Automation
The platform shall automatically: (a) issue one Grant Coin after payment confirmation and vote verification; (b) send the dashboard invitation email after a successful second-round vote; (c) promote nominees reaching 150 first-round votes to the Second Round; and (d) activate 90-day grant access when a nominee reaches 85 second-round votes.
Privacy & Data Protection Policy
Organized and Administered by Farmbid Africa — Hosted on the Vibo Platform
1. DATA WE COLLECT
Farmbid Africa and the Vibo Platform may collect personal data including: your name, email address, phone number, country, and biography/experience statement when you apply to be a judge. We also collect identity verification data and judging activity records.
2. PURPOSE OF DATA USE
Data shall be used strictly for: processing your judge application, managing your judging activities, verifying your identity and eligibility, communicating with you about the Awards, fraud detection, and reporting and analytics.
3. DATA PROTECTION MEASURES
Farmbid Africa shall implement reasonable safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction.
4. DATA SHARING
Data may be shared with: verification partners, legal authorities (where required by law), and technical service providers. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. DATA RETENTION
Data may be retained for compliance purposes, auditing, reporting, and future award cycles.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at info@wethepeople.africa.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
