The Walk with Pride Campaign is a transformative initiative aimed at providing school shoes to underprivileged pupils under 12 years old from remote areas in Pokot County, Kenya empowering them to access education with dignity. Aiming to make lasting impact the foundation seeks to extend its reach to Turkana and Marakwet counties, fostering peace and unity between historically hostile communities. By investing in education we strive to break cycles of conflict and build a brighter future for generations to come. These regions face significant socio-economic challenges, and many children encounter barriers to accessing education due to poverty, harsh environmental conditions, and lack of basic necessities. Many students walk long distances to school barefoot or with inadequate footwear, exposing them to injuries, discomfort and health risks. Additionally, the lack of essential learning materials limits their ability to fully participate in the learning process. The Walk with Pride Campaign seeks to restore dignity, improve mobility, and enhance educational participation by equipping vulnerable students with shoes and school supplies, enabling them to pursue their education with confidence and pride.
