Visionary Community Based Organization (Visionary CBO) is a grassroots organization founded in 2018 and officially registered in 2019 in Likoni, Mombasa County, Kenya. We work to empower communities through education, environmental conservation, health awareness, peace and security initiatives, youth empowerment, gender-based violence prevention, and economic empowerment. We serve young people, women, children, students, and vulnerable members of the community through mentorship, skills development, clean-up activities, tree planting, sports for peace, education support, health awareness, and income-generating initiatives. Since our establishment, we have implemented community-led projects including the GenZ Na Usalama football tournament, beach and public space clean-ups, tree-planting activities, sanitary pad support for schoolgirls, and partnerships with government institutions and other stakeholders. Through collaboration and grassroots action, we are committed to building a safe, educated, healthy, and environmentally sustainable community.
