Tuungane Community-Based Organization is a youth-led organization in Kilifi County empowering young people, women, and vulnerable communities through education, sports, arts, and human rights advocacy. Through the Watoto Wasome Initiative, we promote literacy, mentorship, and access to quality education among vulnerable learners. Our Kandanda Mashinani Initiative uses football to nurture talent, build life skills, promote gender equality, and inspire positive social change. We also use community dialogues and creative murals to advance human rights, environmental conservation, and civic engagement. By working hand in hand with schools, local leaders, volunteers, community members and the county government, we create inclusive, community-driven solutions that empower the next generation to thrive and lead lasting change.
