We promote climate smart Agriculture practices to farmers especially in Asal counties specikitui county. We capacity build Livestock farmers, youth and women to engage in CSA practices. One of this practices is production of Black Soldier Fly Larvae Meal (BSF) as highly nutritious and cheap source of protein to chicken and other Livestock. BSF utilises waste organic matter from household, farms, markets etc and convert then in edible and high valued feed source rich in protein, fats, essential minerals. The practice therefore reduces environmental pollution, peomote li estock health while producing cheap source of animal feed.
