What started as a community group in one district inspired other districts in 6 districts across 4 provinces. Ours is a true story of a bottom up policy pipeline. The media picked about our interventions leaders listened. Invitation at policy formulations were extended to our group to share success stories about the impact we made. Our organization inspired the national conversation on urban resilience and other areas such as Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change and agriculture biodiversity, and Policy and advocacy. We helped build community resilience against the impacts of climate change in disaster prone areas like Manicaland. Support of first time responder skills for communities to help save life in the events of disasters forms part of our interventions. We believe poverty undermines success in conservation efforts thus agriculture biodiversity is meant to provide alternative food systems for communities against the threats of climate change.
