Ecrad was founded in 2001 as a direct response from the call from Zioya community to help save the lives of the little ones whose parents died to HIV/AIDs and other related diseases leaving their young and left to fend themselves on almost nothing. As a result, they have no future and in most cases end up becoming drug addicts , prostitutes, street kids and lobbers, indulge in teen age marriages. No education. At Ecrad we carry out the following programmes: 1. Education programme : ( we run a primary school where our 430 orphans go to plus other children from the community. It’s all for free. 2. We support them with their secondary and higher education with fees and other related things. 3. We feed them on daily basis, care for them when they are sick we take them to hospital as we don’t have a clinic of ourselves. 4. We train them in different technical skill so that upon graduating they will be self reliant.
